
CHICAGO – (May 1, 2010) PrideIndex.com™ announced the 23 recipients of the 2010 Esteem Awards. The Esteem Awards honors local and national organizations and individuals for their continued efforts in supporting the African-American LGBT community in the areas of entertainment, media, civil rights, business and art.
The 2010 Esteem Award honorees will be recognized at a special cocktail reception on Thursday, July 1 at Sidetrack (3349 N.Halsted Chicago) from 6:00PM-8:00PM. “PrideIndex.com is pleased to congratulate the extraordinary individuals and organizations to receive the 2010 Esteem Award,” said Philip Esteem of PrideIndex.com. “These organizations and individuals are outstanding examples of activism, and service in their fields.” he continued.
