This year eleven individuals and five organizations will be recognized. The 2023 Esteem Awards is sponsored by The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) and AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC). The Esteem Awards is a 501c3 organization dedicated to promoting positive images of the African American/People of Color, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ)+ communities.
