Chicago native, Marcellus Shields aka “Marcellus Onassis” always knew he wanted to be in the entertainment industry but was not sure exactly what he wanted to do. At the age of 23 Onassis became part owner of a modeling agency, although he has since severed ties with agency he was still determined to remain confident to realize his dream. Two years later he started Celleau Productions, a promotions company whose namesake came from Onassis’ childhood nickname.
Celleau Productions books artists for digital radio stations and performance shows at prominent nightclubs in Chicago. Onassis has worked with local personality Mz Ruff N Stuff and Benjamin Cottrell Designs. In 2014 Celleau Productions booked it’s 11th show. In February 2014 Onassis was named on the Flyy-Life’s 17 Most Eligible Bachelors. The 29 year old admits that he is highly flattered but chooses to focus his energies on expanding his business.
Onassis shared his story and ultimate goal of building his company into a top notch promotions firm.
