Black Alphabet Announces Memorial Weekend of Fun Events

Black Alphabet Film Festival (BAFF) the decade old, Chicago film festival for the Black LGBTQ community recently announced events taking place from Thursday May 25 – Saturday May 27.

Mix and Mingle in this Social Mixer at Nobody’s Darling, sponsored by Mezcla Media Collection, Black Alphabet, and The Reservoir Collective.

This session will use drama and acting to learn about the different types of family dynamics, and how to effectively navigate them to achieve the best personal outcomes. All materials will be provided.

Black Alphabet co-presents a film screening of the short film, “For My Brother: The Legacy of Joseph Beam”. The screening will be followed by a panel discussin with filmmaker Joshua X Miller. This is an in-person event. All ticket sales and donations will be given to the filmmaker.
