The event takes place Saturday September 2 at the Metropolitan Library at 1332 Metropolitan Parkway Atlanta GA 30310. Join us for an afternoon highlighting written and spoken word, music, art, and more. With hors d’oeuvres, lively conversation, door prizes, and vendors, it is sure to be an afternoon well spent!

Dr. Derrick Tennial will moderate two author panels covering writing with passion & purpose and more.
Panelists include:
Adam L. McMath, is the executive director of Black Alphabet, a nonprofit arts organization focusing on uplifting the stories of Black and LGBTQ creators through film.
Tim’ m West is an Author, Activist and Poet. He is the executive director of LGBTQ Institute at National Center for Civil and Human Rights.
Dion Alexander McNeal is a Black queer nonbinary, Artist/Activist & Author.
Penny Duncan Stephens is a Black Activist & Author.
Latanya Mack is a Poet/Wordsmith.
Doris Thomas is an Atlantan Historian & Author.
Jordan Live, is the founder of Living Live Foundation, a 501 (c)3 organization that is dedicated to helping to empower BIPOC creatives in the arts and culture.
Baton Rouge native/Southern University Alum & Author Casey Hamilton.
Detroit born/Atlanta resident, Author & Poet John Collins.
Anaré V. Holmes is a Writer | Instructor | Equity Leader, and an Atlanta firefighter/EMT.
Nehemiah D. Frank is the founder and editor-in-chief of The Black Wall Street Times. With deep personal ties to history, Frank hails from a family who survived the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.
