Join us for ONE Archives Foundation’s and Our Family Coalition’s upcoming webinar, Teaching the History of HIV/AIDS Activism. The webinar will feature a presentation by historian Emily Hobson around the onset of the AIDS crisis and the LGBTQ activism that grew in response to it, and an 11th grade U.S. history model lesson with a classroom activity conducted by veteran history teacher Elana Goldbaum. The model lesson will explore and analyze the historical context around the crisis to understand reasons for anger and unrest in the LGBTQ community.
